Gill Navarro

Gillian "Gill" Navarro is a Manila-based filmmaker, production designer, and multimedia artist specializing in graphics design and Augmented Reality effect development for Instagram. She is currently taking her undergraduate studies, majoring in Film at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.


In 2020, Gill co-founded The Lakambini, a Filipino women-led non-profit non-government organization that advocates for human and women's rights and serves as a platform for women to showcase their talents in different media of art.

Gill is also a co-founder of Pelikula Persona, a collective of filmmakers based from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.


Currently, she serves as part of the art department in several student short films such as the Hair and Makeup and Prosthetics Artist of Dan Verzosa and Ayen Alvarez's "Sapagka't Ika'y Tubig", Art Director for Jericho Rimando's "Static Memories and Czkaira Borlaza's "Mutya ng Ukay-ukay", and many others. She also served as Production Designer for numerous student short films such as Grant Frondozo's "There's A Mountain Nearby and I Don't Like It" and co-Production Designed with Mharyll Aza Gellera for "Odhette."
